Islamic Human Rights Commission on Female Workers' Rights

TEHRAN Islamic human rights commission in a statement issued here on Wednesday on the occasion of the international Labor Day called for measures to protect female workers' rights and to provide more jobs for the youth. The statement underlined the need for providing necessary support for workers, specially those engaged in hard works, and preventing child labor. It further stressed the need for formation of trade organizations to guarantee workers' rights and to address problems faced by them.

The statement continued with a call for ending the deplorable conditions of the immigrant workers in industrial states as well as removal of any job discriminations in those countries. In conclusion, the commission felicitated all the world workers on the international labor day and underlined the need for implementation of article 13 of the Islamic human rights declaration. The said article refers to jobs as a right which should be guaranteed by governments.
